The Bridgend Foodbank is Emmaus South Wales' local foodbank that is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust. They don’t think anyone in the community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis.

The Foodbank relies on donations from people within the community to be able to provide crisis packages. Items the foobank often need are items such as tinned fruit, small jars of coffee, UHT milk and corned beef. However sometimes they have a surplus of things like beans or catering sized packs of rice and pasta.

The Bridgend Foodbanks distribution hub in Pyle have kindly offered to donate some of the larger sized catering packs of food to Emmaus South Wales to enable us to provide tasty, nutritious meals for our Companions.
