Emmaus South Wales' charity shop located on New Road in Porthcawl celebrated its 6th birthday on St David’s Day, March the 1st.

The Porthcawl shop opened in 2013 and has been part of the Porthcawl community ever since. To celebrate the occasion the the shop was adorned with bunting, balloons and of course a Welsh flag. There was also refreshments and cakes available for customers to enjoy!

 

Michelle, Deputy Shop Manager of the Porthcawl shop said “March the 1st is a special day at Emmaus Porthcawl, as it's our Birthday! This year, alongside new and regular customers, volunteers and Companions we celebrated being open 6 years! We are very grateful to our brilliant volunteers, who have also become our friends. Thank you to all our customers and local community for their continued support!"

The Emmaus shop in Porthcawl is well known amongst locals for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere and wide range of new and secondhand items for sale! You'll find everything in this shop from golf clubs and clothes to beds and books. You never know what bargains you may find with the ever-changing stock!
