With fashion changing daily it's often hard to keep up with the trends! Not only can it be expensive, but it's also not great for the environment as it is creating a 'throw away society'. In this month's blog our Marketing Coordinator, Georgia shares seven 'looks' that have been created using some items of clothing that she has bought from Emmaus South Wales shops. The aim of this blog is to combat the stigmas of charity shops and show the fantastic items you can find at bargain prices! We hope you enjoy Georgia's fashion takeover...

Look 1: Chic workwear

Checked TM Lewin dress with blazerTM Lewin dress with blazer

The first look I have put together is for office/workwear. This gorgeous TM Lewin dress was bought in an Emmaus South Wales shop and looks great with tights and a pair of dolly shoes. Or why not wear it with thick tights and boots to change it up! I have also styled the dress with a black H&M blazer also purchased from an Emmaus South Wales shop.

Look 2: Day to night smart causal

Pink Blazer with beaded topPink long blazer outfit

This look would be perfect for a spot of weekend shopping or a meal with friends and family. This slightly sheer grey knitted beaded vest goes brilliantly with the blush pink longline blazer. I have put the top and blazer with black skinny jeans and black leather FatFace ankle boots to make this outfit more casual. However, why not wear some leather look skinny jeans and strappy heels for an evening look.

Look 3:  Faux fur

High neck mustard top teamed with a black faux fur giletFaux fur gilet with mustard long sleeve top

This is one of my favourite looks! I have teamed this beautiful faux fur black gilet with a long sleeve, mustard high neck top, with ruched detailing. Both faux fur and mustard is bang on trend this season and look great together. I have put these items together with black skinny jeans, but why not change it up and wear it with a leather look a-line skirt and tights.

Look 4: Casual asymmetric

Grey asymmetric top teamed with black skinny trousers and bootsAsymmetric top and jeans

This is a great casual look that is bang on trend. The cotton top features an asymmetric bottom, turtle neckline and short sleeves. I have teamed this top with black skinny jeans and ankle boots, but it would also look great with a pair of trainers, a look that is very hot this season!

Look 5: Jumper vibes

Jumper with a heart detail with bootsJumper with a heart shaped detail

Everyone loves a jumper don't they? This look is great as the jumper is not too thick, which makes it great for the autumn season. The bright pink heart detail on the front of the jumper adds a pop of colour, making it more unique. I have simply teamed the jumper with skinny jeans and ankle boots, but it would look great with long boots too!

Look 6: Ruffles & mules

Frilled silk top teamed with tan mules and accessories Ruffle top with tan accessories

I am loving the tan accessories on this look! This top has great ruffle detailing; so for the perfect autumn look I have chosen a mid/dark wash skinny jean with a faux suede tan mule, a style which is also on trend at the moment. Sometimes simplicity is the best option!

Look 7: Ruffles & metallics

The last look is a more 'Christmassy', evening outfit. I have teamed the black ruffle top with a pair of silver metallic look skinny jeans and wedged peep-toe zip front shoes. However, if you want to make this outfit pop, why not accessorise with metallic or glittered shoes and clutch bag!
