Here are 5 easy steps you can take to help YOU to get fit and healthy in 2019. 1. Eat healthier Everything we eat has an impact on our bodies and making healthy meal choices can often be hard. Are you struggling to think of healthy meals to make? Or do you need some guidance on how to cook healthy, yet tasty meals for you and your family? Why not see what cookbooks are available in your local Emmaus shop. Our books start from as little as 50p, so there's no excuse to try something new. We also have a section on our website, the Companion Cookbook which shares step by step healthy recipes created by our Companions living in our Community home. 2. A helping hand Sometimes we all need a little helping hand; whether it be support off friends and family or gadgets to help make life a little easier. If you struggle to eat the recommended five fruit and veg a day, why not get a helping hand from a gadget or two. Food blenders and juicers are a really easy way to enjoy fruit and vegetables. Simply pop your chosen fruit or veg into a blender and blitz until smooth. Enjoy for breakfast or for a healthy snack.
